Kastane, Sri Lanka
$165.00 $135.00 On Sale!
1KASTANE001

This is somewhat of a cross between the kastane of Sri Lanka and perhaps the nimcha of Morocco. I believe it is more closely related to the kastane. I suppose it could also be considered a Luzon Matulis sansibar of Northen Luzon. This could be classified as either a short sword or a dagger.
Woof grip in a serpentine shape; iron cross-guard also in the shape of a serpent. Blade is single-edged with an ~5" false-edge; ~13-1/2" unstopped fuller.
Overall length is ~24"; blade length is ~19-3/8".
Good condition overall.
