2SAHARADAGGER002

African belt or arm dagger with leather sheath - from Central Saharan region. Overall length in scabbard is ~13-1/4' overall length out of scabbard is ~13-1/8".
Blade is ~8-1/4" on length, double-edged with blunted spear-point tip. Thin bladed with designs on both sides. Leather-wrapped metal grip with exposed spear-point metal pommel (unsharpened).
Scabbard appears to be entirely of leather with scattered various designs.
Overall condition is good.

Spanish Modelo 1860 Machete for Cuban Civil Guard
$145.00
1860cubaspancvlgrd001

These uncommon short swords or machetes are Spanish in origin but were used in Cuba by their Civil Guard units from about 1860 to about 1898. They originally were equipped with a brown leather scabbard with brass throat and drag; this one appears to be a second type or field replacement and appears to have been with it for a very long time; it is only a partial scabbard and appears to have been entirely made of black leather, but could have utilized a metal drag; it does have a belt hanger or frog attached, so I believe it to be a regulation variant. Wood mameluke or pistol-grip style hilt, wood grips, with brass S-shape cross-guard.
Overall length is ~23-5/8"; blade length is ~18-1/8".
Blade has scattered light pitting and is dark oxide colored overall (should clean up quite a bit). Scabbard is a bit worse for wear. Overall condition about fair.

Spanish Modelo 1907 Artilleria Machete (aka Spanish Model 1907 Artillery Bolo Knife), no Scabbard
$95.00
3SPAN1907BOLOKNF003

Original Spanish Modelo 1907 Machete para Artilleria y Otros (aka Spanish Model 1907 Artillery Bolo Knife). Very similar to the Spanish Model 1941 Mauser Bolo Bayonet.
Overall length is ~17; bolo-style blade, length is ~11-1/2", blade is stamped "ARTILLERIA / (Spanish coat of arms) / FABRICADA DE TOLEDO". Checkered wood grips (one side chipped, see images), leaf-spring catch/scabbard release on top of grip (see images). The steel pommel cap could be considered a rudimentary eagle head or perhaps a "liberty" cap. Steel S-shape cross-guard with round drum finials.
Note: No scabbard.
Fair to good condition overall. Chip in right grip (see images).

U.S. Model 1855 Sword Bayonet converted to Knife, Handmade Scabbard
$295.00
1US1855CONVKNIFEWS102

This is a U.S. Model 1855 Saber bayonet - used extensively during the Civil War - originally on the US Model 1855 Percussion Rifle. These rifles and bayonets saw hard use. This one has very obviously been converted to a side-arm, and is about the size of a good Bowie or hunting knife. Very crude shaping of the blade, but clearly a reduced bayonet blade; handle has obviously been removed and re-positioned at some time and is held in place by a model nail. Solid brass hilt and steel blade are battered and worn (see images).
Overall length is scabbard is ~14-5/8"; overall length out of scabbard is ~14-1/2"; blade length is ~9-3/4".
Scabbard is handmade and I cannot determine age; it is leather and crudely hand-stitched with leather and wire.
