This Carbine is a copy of the 1859 Percussion Sharps Military Carbine converted to fire cartridges then sold to the State of Texas and issued to Texas Rangers stationed on the Western Frontier in the 1860's. Each of the 36 original carbines were marked on the barrel by the Rangers with a 'T H S' and numbered as issued. The carbines will be produced initially in 45-70 and later 50-70 calibers.

The Carbines feature case colored actions and blued steel barrel and parts. The wood is American black walnut as was used on the original Texas Ranger carbines.
