Marlin 1892 Lever-Action 22 Rimfire, used

Scarce Marlin Model 1892 Lever-Action Rifle in .22 rimfire caliber. The down side of this is the gun needs serious work and is not in operating condition. Barrel apperas to have been shortened a bit to ~23" and most likely was 24" barrel (see images); why this was done I do not know. Wood stock has a very competent repair of about 3-1/2" on wrist, right side (see images). Magazine tube may not be original. This may be an antique gun but I will not ship it as such. Must be shipped to a Curio & Relic Collector licensee or a licensed firearms dealer.
Bore is fair and I do not know if the internal workings are correct as I have not shot this gun. Lever cycles and and hammer cocks; hammer falls when trigger is pulled.
