Henri Pieper Rook Rifle, Antique, Used

Henri Pieper (of Belgium) Rook or Rabbit carbine based on the Warnant Patent breech-loading system (similar to a Flobert), unknown caliber but appears to be ~.30 caliber. Manufactured circa 1885-1898.
Barrel is stamped, "H. Pieper" various components bear Liege proof stamps. Octagon barrel, fixed front and rear sights; ornate brass trigger-guard.
Overall length is ~40"; barrel length is ~23-3/4"; LOP is ~14-1/4".

Fair condition overall; stock is cracked at wrist but "field" repaired; repaired crack on left side of breech-block. Various other minor flaws, chip in butt-plate, dings, scratched, etc. Hammer main spring is broken, and it appears perhaps the firing pin and ejector may be broken as well.
