W. Richards Hammer Double Barrel SxS Shotgun, ~12 gauge (18.2mm). Lock-plate is marked "W. RICHARDS", top of barrel is marked, "LAMINATED STEEL" (this indicates Damascus steel and not safe for modern shot-shells), barrel underside breech flat is stamped with various markings, Liege (Belgium) proofed.
Overall length is ~45-1/2"; barrel length is ~28"; LOP is ~14-1/2" (rear trigger) to ~15-1/4".
Fair condition overall; no major flaws noted with the exception of one larger barrel ding, various field repairs, small crack in stock at rear of right lock-plate. Some rust freckling is visible on the brown finish barrels. Various dings, scratches.
Used gun, sold as is; antique, not sold as a shooter; no warranty implied or given. Would make a great wall-hanger above the fireplace.
