This is an iron ax-head - without shaft - Indo-Persian in origin, middle to southern India.
Ax head width from outside attaching ferrule/shank to center of cutting edge is ~4-1/2"; blade cutting edge measures ~4-1/4" from tip to tip; from inner shank of ferrule to blade edge is ~3-1/8"; shaft ferrule/shank O.D. is ~1-1/8" wide, I.D. is ~1-1/4". Appears to be a rudimentary "11" on the right blade face.
Fair to good condition.
