Romanian AKM Type I Knife Bayonet with scabbard only (no insulator or scabbard belt hanger). These were introduced with the various AKM "stamped receiver" AK models originally introduced by the Soviets in 1959.
Wire-cutter style using the bayonet and scabbard as a pincer/plier-type cutter when connected together via a
pivot point at the scabbard drag (tip). Bowie-style, clipped-point blade.
Overall length in scabbard is ~13-1/4"; overall length out of scabbard is ~11"; blade length is ~6". Reddish-brown composition grip.
