W.H. Mortimer Percussion Double Shotgun, London

W.H. Mortimer English-made Double Barrel Shotgun, Percussion ignition, ~16 gauge; hooked breech. Lock-plate is marked "W.H. MORTIMER", top of barrel is marked, "LONDON", barrel underside breech flat is stamped with Birmingham and London proofs.
Very nice maple wood, nice "bird's eye" burl and striped patterns (see images).
Overall length is ~46"; barrel length is ~29-1/2"; LOP is ~14-1/4"; weight ~6-1/2 lbs.
Good condition overall; no major flaws noted with the exception of the percussion nipples; both have flattened from dry-firing (and must be replaced). Some rust freckling is visible on the brown finish damascus barrels, most notable on top near the muzzle; barrel muzzle is slightly deformed (see images). Ram-rod is complete with patch slot for cleaning; appears original. Various minor dings, scratches, nothing major or considered noteworthy (see images).
Used gun; antique; not sold as a shooter; no warranty implied or given. Please have any gun you intend to shoot - in any fashion - checked by a competent gunsmith.
