Box, Pilot's Wings Box, Original USAAF, circa WWII

Original USAAF Pilot's Wings metal box for the Pilot's Medal and/or Glider Pilot's Medal. The original owner was a pilot for the United States Army Air Force during WWII and later in the Korean War. It is believed he was with Military Intelligence during that time. Original owner was also a glider pilot. All metal construction with green mat finish. Basic dimensions are - ~3-3/4" by ~2-5-8" by ~1-3/8". Very good condition overall.
NOTE: This is the box only, medal(s) not included.
