Percussion Single-Shot Pistol, circa mid-1800s, Antique
1BACON001A - !!! SOLD !!!
This is an antique Percussion Single-Shot Pistol, perhaps manufactured by Bacon and Company or perhaps manufactured W.W. Marston circa 1840s to 1860s. Caliber is believed between .31 and .36. Overall length is ~9-3/4"; barrel length is ~6", half octagon, half round.
Overall condition is about poor to fair as the metal is lightly rusted overall; action is not fuctional (hammer and trigger do not latch into position but move freely); nipple is broken at breech.
Interesting Civil War era belt/pocket pistol.
This is an antique firearm manufactured before 1898 and can be shipped directly in most States, excluding New Jersey and Hawaii.
Used gun, sold as is; no warranty implied or given. Not sold as a shooter. Please have any gun you intend to shoot - in any fashion - checked by a competent gunsmith.
