Arab Saif with Scabbard

Old Arab saif (sword) with scabbard.
Mameluke (Marmeluke) hilt, horn grips, brass cruciform cross-guard; silver twisted wrap wire is wrapped around the upper langets and bottom of grips. Four tacks on each side of grips, one is missing the head (right side); unknown white metal (believed silver) inlaid under tacks. One chip (~1/2"" is missing from the pommel end (on the "beak" of the birds-head pommel (see images).
Blade is ~30-1/4" with triple fullers - both sides - rudumentary design engraved into blade flats for about the first six inches. Blade width at ricasso is ~1-5/8".
Overall length in scabbard is ~37-1/2"; overall length out of scabbard is ~35".
Scabbard appears to be a wood body with rawhide wrap, stitched along the back-edge (top); throat and drag are tanned leather, hand-stitched.
Overall condition is about good; numerous minor blade-edge nicks.
