Old oriental Dha, perhaps early-to-mid 19th century, Myanmar style from the region of Burma, with cord-wrapped wood scabbard. Similar styles can be found in Cambodia and Laos.
Overall length in scabbard is ~32"; overall length out of scabbard is ~28-1/8".
Wood grip with rattan wrap; copper ferrule between hilt and blade; several small splits in wood near ferrule, one larger split (see images).
Blade length is ~18-1/2"; rudimentary fullers/grooves on both sides, "hall-marked" on left ricasso; geometric designs on blade back-edge with one gold-colored inlay (see images).
Scabbard is distinctly Myanmar - wood with decorative inter-laced copper wire wrap; two piece scabbard is slightly age-separated from shrinkage at throat (see images). Remnants of baldric cord (shoulder sling) remain.
Good condition overall (exceptions noted).
