Original Australian L1A2 Bayonet and Scabbard; these were adopted circa 1957 and manufactured at the Lithgow Arsenal. These are totally devoid of markings.
Overall length in scabbard is ~12-5/8"; overall length out of scabbard is ~11-5/8"; blade length is ~7-3/4". Sheet steel grips held on with two rivets; steel pommel and guard.
Very-good to excellent condition overall.
