Remington New Model Army, Transitional Model

Original Remington "New Model" Army, .44 caliber percussion, Transitional Model without New Model stamping on barrel, serial number on barrel underside has been over-stamped or re-stamped at least three times (see images) but original number appears to be 10673 which falls into the range for these transitional models (another reads 10456). Hammer, cylinder pin, and one nipple were broken and have now been replaced, but I will include the original pieces with this sale. Good amount of original bluing on barrel but some rusting is obvious (see images). Good cartouche on left grip (see images). Good Civil War vintage revolver. Good condition overall. About 50% original finish remains on barrel. The gun needs a good cleaning; I do not do that on antique guns.
