Silver mounted Henry Deringer Commemorative Pistol Set, No.170 of 1,000. These percussion pistols are "authorized working reproductions of the .41 caliber pistols originally made by Henry Deringer Jr." They were authorized by the U.S. Historical Society and the Deringer Family circa 1978. The U.S. Historical Society is located at First and Main Streets, Richmond, Virginia. Most of these sets were made either at the "Williamsburg Firearms Manufactory" or the "Virginia Firearms Manufactory".
The Blue Book of Modern Black Powder Values, Second Edition places the value at $2,500 for 100% condition. These are unfired in the original case with certificate and firing instructions, as well as the accessories. I grade the set at 98%+.

These must be considered as used guns although unfired; they are also considered as antiques as they employ a percussion ignition system; no warranty implied or given. Please have any gun you intend to shoot - in any fashion - checked by a competent gunsmith.
