Spanish Modelo 1900 Security Forces Machete, scarce

This is a scarce sword or machete designated the Spanish Model 1900 Machete for Security Forces (Machete Modelo 1900 para Fuerzas de Seguridad de Espanola). Very distinct down-swept pommel/grip style with rectangular slot for sword knot or lanyard. Appears to be walnut gripped, held in place by two slotted screws, inset nuts, flush with the grips; brass cross-guard, steel ovoid pommel.
Straight, blunt, unsharpened blade, single-edged, rounded tip. Scabbard is of black leather body with brass throat (and should have a brass drag but that is missing on this example).
Overall length is ~33-1/4"; blade length is ~27-3/8"; width at ricasso is ~1-3/8"; thickness is ~1/4".
Blade has scattered light surface rust, red oxide in color (should clean up nicely). Scabbard is partial and a bit worse for wear; drag and lower portion of scabbard is missing (see images).
