The Vicksburg Bowie has a very early style blade with the Spanish notch and a handle called a “dogbone” due to its pommel shape. This is the style often carried by the keel-boatmen and on the steamboats. When you hold this one in your hand, it’ll give you the confidence to take on “a room full of wildcats”, as the old riverboat brag went! Historically accurate with high-carbon steel blade. CAS-Iberia.
