Japanese Type 99 Short Rifle without monopod, cleaning rod. Caliber 7.7mm Japanese, barrel length ~25-1/2". Appears an all original rifle; s/n 63344; chrysanthemum on receiver very clear. Believed Toyo Kogyo arsenal, Hiroshima Prefecture, 30th series. No import markings found on this example.
