Danish Model 1889 Krag Jorgensen Bayonet

These bayonets were designed to fit the Danish Model 1889 Krag Jorgensen Infantry Rifle.

All of these I have encountered are German made by either Weyersberg, Kirschbaum, and Cie. (WKC), or Alexander Coppel of Solingen, Germany.

These bayonets are well made. The grips are black pressed leather; pommel employs a unique lanyard swivel. Single-edge knife blade.

Scabbards are black leather body with steel throat and drag; unique clip retainer holds the bayonet in the scabbard.

If you need further information, please request such on the Weapons Identification Service page.
